Biography
Lloyd Bloom was born in New York City in 1947. He graduated from Hunter College (1972) and received his M.F.A. degree from Indiana University at Bloomington (1975). He also studied at the Art Students League and at the New York Studio School.

Scope and Content
The collection contains the initial letter from Slayton to Bloom and Bloom's response. Also included is a photocopy of the cover of Yonder and one letter from John Atwater to Roger Crossgrove conveying the Bloom-Slayton correspondence.
