Northeast Artists' Collective
The Northeastern Connecticut Art Guild, a non-profit organization founded in 1985 and headquartered in Danielson, organizes exhibits of members' work in regional venues. Guild membership includes both professional and amateur artists. Many of the artists have formal training in the arts while others are entirely self-taught. Some concentrate their efforts in a single medium, but most choose to express themselves in several media. All the artists are inspired, to one degree or another, by their environment--their residence in the northeast corner of Connecticut.

This exhibit presents a variety of representative work from sixteen Guild artists--including drawings, watercolors, woodblock prints, photographs, and paintings in oil and acrylic. Many of the works in this exhibit are available for purchase. A portion of each sale benefits the library's exhibit program.
