The National Historical Publications and Records Commission (NHPRC) has announced its selection of the Thomas J. Dodd Research Center as the host for its 1997-1998 Fellowship in Archival Administration. The goal of this program is to provide training in the administration of archives; only one nine-month fellowship award is made in a given year. During the recipient's stay at the Dodd Center, he or she will participate in library committee and management activities and will develop proposals for collections and funding. In addition, the fellow will carry out a technical project involving the development of cooperative efforts with other New England libraries and archives. Potential fellows apply directly through the NHPRC; the deadline for application is March, 1997. Questions may be directed to Tom Wilsted at 486-4501.
