Staff Retirements

Carol Moulton, Collections Services, has, for 18
years, helped to maintain the Babbidge Library stacks in good
order, frequently taking the lead with one of our periodic
shifting projects.
Nancy Hatt, Business Services, has been on staff for 32 years. Managing a payroll for about 300 students each week and keeping track of acquisitions expenditures have been Nancy's primary responsibilities.
Valerie Oliver, Research & Information Services, is a reference librarian, author, and liaison to the School of Engineering and the Mathematics Department. Valerie will retire with 28 years of experience at UConn.
Seated:
Doris Breen, Access Services, joined the
Babbidge Library staff in 1978 and has managed the financial
transactions of Circulation Services for 19 years.
Connie Cooke, Avery Point Library, has directed the Avery Point Regional Campus Library and served as the Libraries specialist in the area of Marine Sciences for 19 years.
Diane Castillo, Business Services, joined the staff in 1970, working initially in the Director's Office and in recent years serving as the Libraries' chief financial officer.
Nancy Kline, Research & Information Services, joined the staff in 1968. Currently a reference librarian and liaison to the Psychology Department and the Human Development & Family Relations program, she holds the library record for the number and variety of assignments she's held in her 29-year career.
The library has been fortunate to attract people with a strong service ethic to its ranks. We're grateful for the commitment and contributions of this group of retirees and we wish them the best as they embark on a new phase of their lives.
