| The Thomson Reuters Corporation eClassroom is housed in the Jeremy Richard
Library at the UConn Stamford campus. It is a state-of-the-art wireless
classroom, funded by the the Thompson Reuters Corporation headquartered
in Stamford. The room is used for library instruction and may be reserved
for classroom use when the need is demonstrated. |
Library InstructionThe eClassroom permits hands-on classroom instruction for librarians
to teach library and information resources to UConn students, faculty,
and staff. Faculty who want to schedule assignment-related classes should
contact a librarian. |
Faculty UseFaculty may reserve the electronic classroom if they require use of the Internet and/or other audiovisual capabilities. Single-session or semester-long reservations must be made in advance. Reservations will be granted on a first-come-first-served basis. Faculty assigned to the class must be present while students are using the classroom and the faculty is responsible for the security of the room and its equipment during use. |
