About the Copyright Initiative
The University of Connecticut Libraries' copyright initiative supports an informed and educated university community on copyright issues and their application as they concern teaching, research, and scholarship at the University of Connecticut.
The initiative is supported by the UConn Libraries' Plan 2010 (Vision Statement, goal 5 "Transformation of Scholarly Communication Systems") in which the library is called to "provide leadership and expertise for the university community as scholarly communication systems are transformed." Among other activities, the library will "articulate evolving library copyright issues for the university community."
