Hi Everyone,
Just wanted to let you know our new address. We have officially
moved into our new building. It's not open to the public until January
9th, but deliveries will be made here.
  The new address is:
    INTERLIBRARY LOAN//PA212
    CENTRAL MICHIGAN UNIVERSITY LIBRARIES
    300 EAST PRESTON AVENUE
    MT. PLEASANT, MI 48859

Our Ariel address remains the same. As do all our phone and
fax numbers.

Let me extend an invitation for anyone who is in this
vicinity to come and visit our beautiful new building.
It was well worth our three year exile to come home
to such a wonderful work environment. And what
a great start to the New Year.
Hope your New Year started as well as ours did!
Regards,
Pat

As of Dec. 4 I became a member of this list and today tried to follow the
instructions below to check the archives for any information that might be
useful to a new user of CLIO. Has anyone else tried to look at the
archives and been successful?

Contributions sent to this list are automatically archived. You can get a
list of the available archive files by sending an "INDEX CLIO-L" command
to LISTSERV@UCONNVM.UCONN.EDU. You can then order these files with a "GET
CLIO-L LOGxxxx" command, or using LISTSERV's database search facilities.
Send an "INFO DATABASE" command for more information on the latter.

Laura,

When I look at the archive I do the following. I send an email to
LISTSERV@UCONNVM.UCONN.EDU. I leave the subject line blank. I enter the
appropriate command in the body of the email, e.g., INDEX CLIO-L. I do not
place any other information in the email. After I have the list then I send
another email to the same email address mentioned above, subject line blank
with the command to get the log, e.g. GET CLIO-L LOGxxxx in the body of the
email.

Laura,

If you want to search the archive for a particular subject you can enter the
following command:

Search '#####' in CLIO-L

You would place replace the pound signs with the subject of the search, e.g.
search 'lending' in CLIO-L

After sending this search you should receive a reply whether the search was
successful. If it was successful there will be a list of emails that match
your request with an item number. At this time you would send a request for
the emails you would like to review, e.g., if the results had the following
items:

Item # Date Time Recs Subject
------ ---- ---- ---- -------
000012 00/11/13 14:49 41 HELP
000051 01/01/24 07:52 23 Archiving Error

I would send a command to LISTSERV@UCONNVM.UCONN.EDU as follows

GETPOST CLIO-L 12 51

To get these two items.

As for transferring multiple requests into Docline when you complete the process of transferring a request to Docline and selecting, copying and pasting the Docline Request to transfer to Clio you will need to make sure that your cursor is in the Title field of the Docline screen to transfer the next request to Docline. Before going to the Manual entry screen to enter your next request select the next record button in Clio Request then go back to the Manual entry screen in Docline. Once your cursor is in the Title field of the Docline screen then you will be able to transfer the next request by clicking on the transfer button, (the arrow pointing down) Judd Knight Clio Software Support 817-726-3475 -----Original Message----- From: ILL Records Management Software User's Group [mailto:CLIO-L@UConnVM.UConn.Edu]On Behalf Of Donald Nagolski Sent: Monday, January 21, 2002 9:15 AM To: CLIO-L@UConnVM.UConn.Edu Subject: [CLIO] Manual Entry into ClioRequest A couple of questions on using ClioRequest and Docline: We are now using ClioRequest > Manual Entry to enter our Docline requests. In order for a request to be considered in the generation of a Copyright Status Report the Clio Status must be RecCopy or Pending and the "Copyright Compl." field must have the code CCG.
