I agree with Raymond Schwartz -- we need to have verification that emails were
sent because I also have the problem of patrons claiming they never received
notification.  Sometimes I think that Clio really did not send the email;
verification would be very helpful.

MIME-Version: 1.0

For the past two days, we've discovered that Clio borrowing records are not
being updated to the "shipped" status. Most are still in the "Pending"
status in Clio, although the OCLC records indicate "Shipped."

Before last week, as we were starting up on borrowing through Clio, I
captured screen shots to update the status to "Shipped." As of last
Wednesday, we now do a daily download of the "Shipped" and "Unfilled"
reports and capture into Clio.

Any help? suggestions?

Thanks,
Paul

Paul,

In most cases the Clio status will not change to shipped. The only reason
the Clio status would change to shipped would be that the request was not in
Clio as a pending record prior to downloading the shipped category. The
only status that may change when downloading the shipped category is the
OCLC status.

Tanya,

In order to get a list of libraries that have not been assigned to a library
group you will need to get the customreport.mdb module from
http://www.cliosoftware.com/reports.htm. On this report along with some
other helpful reports is a report that will determine the groups that have
not been assigned to a library group. On the web page please be sure to
download the readme file which will give you information on setting up this
module and the reports that can be used.

We're trying to add Patron Notes to this report printout. Has anyone done
this? Adding a text box to this layout and using the Patron8 field as
source, ends up as a query parameter. Is there something else to
change? We basically wanted most all the Borrowing Request Fields to print
on one piece of paper and this seemed like the report to modify. Any

Sandra,

If you delete the incorrect one then the requests that were related to the
incorrect patron record will be in the Review New Requests Queue. You will
need to rematch these requests to the correct patron record by reviewing new
patrons.

Is there a way to copy and paste a record when doing manual request in ClioRequest? I often have several requests for the same item with different critera (like geneological microfilms) and it was so easy to do them in OCLC by just typing new and changing the pertinent details. Clio seems a step backwards from this process as, so far, I'm putting all the data in fresh for each request then sending it up to OCLC. Have I missed something? Was wondering similar things when putting in several requests from the same person. Can I copy and edit to make a new request keeping the patron info?
