What is Summon?
Summon is a simple and fast search engine that helps you discover relevant information on any topic from the UConn Libraries collections. It is the place to start your research in scholarly journal and newspaper articles, books, videos, maps, manuscript collections, music scores and more. From your search results, it's one step to the full-text of articles or to see if a book is on the shelf.
Summon continues to grow. Features continue to improve, and more content is being added regularly.

How do I use Summon?
Use the single search box to start and then refine your search using the options on the left, such as content type, subject or date. For a more specific search, by author or journal title for example, use the Advanced Search option. Use the Help link if you wish to get assistance from library staff.
