Note: Three hours before and then during basketball games at Gampel Pavilion both South and North Parking garages and Lots 8 and 9 are designated Event Parking and an $8.00 fee is charged. Free parking during Gampel events is available in any Area 2 Lot (except 8 and 9); Area 1 after 5:00 pm; and Student Lots S, B, A, T, W and F. From the WEST (through or from Hartford)
Take Interstate 84 East to Exit 68
Turn RIGHT onto Route 195 South, 7 miles to Uconn.On campus, starting at the UNIVERSITY OF CONNECTICUT sign on your RIGHT, continue straight through 4 STOP lights. At the 5th STOP light (just past the lake), turn RIGHT onto Mansfield Road.
Continue on Mansfield Road (bearing slightly to the right) until the 2nd LEFT - Gilbert Road. Turn LEFT onto Gilbert Road and follow until it joins Hillside Road. Turn RIGHT onto Hillside Road.
At the 1st STOP Sign turn LEFT onto Stadium Road (road between UConn Co-op and Gampel Pavilion). Follow Stadium Road past UConn Co-op to South Parking Garage
From the EAST (from Boston toward Hartford)
Take Interstate 84 West to Exit 68
Turn LEFT onto Route 195 South, 7 miles to Uconn.Follow directions above from the WEST
From the SOUTHEAST (through Willimantic)
Follow Route 32 North to Willimantic
In Willimantic, turn RIGHT and go over the FROG Bridge onto Jackson StreetContinue straight ( Jackson Street becomes Route 195 North ), 8 miles to UConn
Starting at the UNIVERSITY OF CONNECTICUT sign on your RIGHT continue straight through three STOP lights
At the 4th STOP light, Turn LEFT onto Mansfield Road
Continue on Mansfield Road (bearing slightly to the right) until the 2nd LEFT - Gilbert Road. Turn LEFT onto Gilbert Road and follow until it joins Hillside Road. Turn RIGHT onto Hillside Road.
At the 1st STOP Sign turn LEFT onto Stadium Road (road between UConn Co-op and Gampel Pavilion). Follow Stadium Road past UConn Co-op to South Parking Garage
WALKING Directions from the South Parking Garage
Exit the South Parking Garage onto Stadium Road. Turn RIGHT and proceed to intersection of Stadium and Hillside Roads. (The UConn Co-op is on the right, Gampel Pavilion on the left)
Cross Hillside Road and continue STRAIGHT toward the Nathan L. Whetten Graduate Center. (Past the Graduate Residences on RIGHT and School of Business on LEFT )
At the Whetten Graduate Center bear slightly to LEFT and proceed past and with the Whetten Graduate Center on your LEFT
The Babbidge Library is straight ahead.
Handicapped parking is available throughout the campus and near the Babbidge Library in the Dodd Center parking lot and on the east side of Babbidge Library building. To view specific parking information, a parking map, and parking fees access:
