Doris & Simon Konover AuditoriumThe Konover Auditorium, named in honor of Doris & Simon Konover,
seats 185 people and accommodates persons with mobility and hearing disabilities. A full range of
audio visual equipment is available. |

Public LoungeA public lounge and a fully-equipped kitchen, appropriate for
receptions no larger than 75 people, are located adjacent to the Auditorium.
The facilities are equipped to accommodate sit-down meals for no more than 35 people. |

Conference Room 162This meeting room accommodates groups of 20. It is equipped with a computer station
that can be used for presentations. It may also be used as an "overflow" space for
presentations in the Auditorium. |
A virtual "tour" of the public areas of the building is also available.
University of Connecticut departments and other associations and organizations affiliated with the University may use Dodd Research Center facilities for special events and programs, particularly public presentations featuring University faculty or visiting lectures.
Dodd Research Center facilities may not be scheduled for regular classroom use or other regularly recurring activities that are primarily of an internal nature.
Events scheduled before or after normal building hours of (M-F, 8:30am-4:30pm) require the presence of a
staff member. The rates as of January 1, 2007 are:
$40/hour for student groups
$50/hour for University departments
$60/hour for non-University affiliations
Events can also be video recorded for a $25 fee and must be requested in advance.
Dodd Research Center public spaces are available for use by reservation only. Requests for
information and reservation requests may be made through

Requests must be received in writing, fax or by e-mail at least two weeks in advance of the anticipated use. A designated contact is required to assume responsibility for any event scheduled in the Dodd Research Center. That person must be present during the event.

Cancellations must be received no later than two days prior to the scheduled event. In the event a reservation is not cancelled within the two-day time frame and the event is scheduled during non-building hours, there will be a $25 fee charged.
The University Libraries reserves the right to deny the use of Dodd Research Center public spaces to departments, persons, or organizations that fail to observe these policies.
