Browsing art and photograph books in search of images can be useful, though often it is more effective to consult art indexes. Here are some call number ranges for art materials; use the library stacks guide to find their library locations. Check different areas of the library (e.g., regular stacks, oversize, reference, and restricted areas).

Most art books are located in the Art & Design Library on the second floor of the Babbidge Library.

Costume, Manners, and Customs= GT's

Decorative Arts = NK's (interior design, interior decoration)

Drawing, Design, Illustration = NC's

Painting = ND's
