Other course reserve materials including the original sound recording discs can be found at the following locations:
- Music Courses
The original recordings are on reserve in the Music & Dramatic Arts (M&DA) Library. Present the original disc's call number, plus a valid University ID, at the M&DA Library service desk. Call numbers may be found on class's online listening list; in the reserve notebook at the service desk; or by searching in HOMER. Items circulate for three hours and must be used on site during regular M&DA Library hours. The library has numerous listening carrels on Level 1 and four group listening/viewing rooms on Level 2 with CD and LP playback equipment. In addition, at least two computers will be available in listening carrels for online listening.
Accompaning musical scores, plus course readings, are also on reserve at the M&DA Library service desk; consult the reserve notebook, HOMER, or the course syllabus for call numbers.
- Courses Using Archival Material
For recordings in Archives & Special Collections at the Thomas J. Dodd Research Center present the original disc's call number, plus a valid University ID at the A&SC reference desk. Call numbers may be found on the audio reserve list. Items do not circulate and must be listened to in the multimedia room. A&SC has one listening station. Hours for A&SC are M 10am-7pm, T-F 10am-4pm, Sa 12pm-4pm.
