- eJournal Locator The University of Connecticut Libraries purchases access to over 10,000 journals, and in full text, through various databases and commercial journal providers. The Full Text Jounal Locator can be used to determine if a title is available through one or more of the Libraries' electronic resources, and to connect to the database or journal directly.

- Print, Electronic and Media Reserve Request Form Faculty should use this web-interactive form to reserve materials for your classes.
- Video Theater Online Booking Faculty may use this web-interactive form to book Video Theaters I and II for specific dates and times.
- Request for Purchase Form Use this form to suggest titles to be added to the Libraries' collections. Required Netid and password to access form.

Research Database Locator
The University of Connecticut subscribes to over 240 Web-Based, commercially-produced research and citation databases. Most of these resources are limited to the University of Connecticut community.
Databases for Spanish Language and Literature
- MLA International Bibliography
- This Modern language Association product in an important first stop when doing literary criticism searches. Available only to members of the UConn community.
- Ingenta
- A citation database for 17,000 multidisciplinary journals. The REVEAL feature provides a user with the ability to set up a search profile and receive the citation results every week on email. Available to University of Connecticut faculty, staff and students.
- JSTOR Essential scholarly journals in many academic fields, especially arts, literature, humanities, and biology. Excellent for searching Language and Literature material. Some back to early 1900s; most recent 2-5 years not available.
- Handbook of Latin American Studies
- An annotated bibliography of literature in the humanities and social sciences. Main emphasis is Latin America but include articles about Spain, Spanish and Literary relationships between Spain and Latin America.
- Hispanic American Periodicals Index (HAPI)
- Indexes over 500 journals covering political, economic, and social issues. Mostly in Spanish.
- Literature Resource Center The Resource Center includes Contemporary Authors Online, Contemporary Literary Criticism Select, and Dictionary of Literary Biography Online.
- Pro-Quest Dissertation & Thesis Indexes every doctoral dissertation completed in the U.S. at accredited institutions. Includes some master's theses and foreign language dissertations, 1861+> Full-text, 1997 to present.
- Linguistics and Language Behavior Abstracts (LLBA)
- Indexes scholarly articles in linguistics; language (speech sounds, sentence and word structure, meaning in language forms, spelling, phonetics); and speech, language, and hearing.
