Locating videos in Homer: limiting by language

At the present time, we can find videos on a broad subject, limited by language. To find the videos, follow the following instructions:

  1. Go into Homer (via the libraries' homepage) http://www.lib.uconn.edu/ -- under Research - Catalog (Homer). Click on "Enter."
  2. Click on the KEYWORD tab.
  3. Enter in your limits. Click on the limit button (looks like a highway speed limit sign).

    Language = French (or another language of choice)
    Type = Visual material
    Physical description = Video recording
    Location = All locations (or limit to a particular location, i.e. Culpepper, where the videos are housed here at Babbidge)

  4. Click on the set limits button.

    You will notice a message in red toward the top of the screen that reads: "Search Limits are in effect!"
