Connecticut GoDoRT Mission Statement

The Purposes of CT GoDoRT as an organization shall be:

1. To create a group to disseminate Information and materials
to make Connecticut citizens aware of information sources
published by all levels of government.


2. To provide a forum for the discussion of problems and
concerns, and for the exchange of ideas by people working
with government publications.


3. To provide a force for initiating and supporting programs
to increase availability, bibliographic control and use of
government.


4. To contribute to the continuing education and training of
government document librarians.


5. To increase communications between government document
librarians and other librarians.
